These are some of my Original Songs and some Kompoz collaborations that I have experimented with Suno (music A I app).
Most of these contain a copy of the ORIGINAL RECORDING to show you how close or not so close Suno’s interpretation’s were
. I also have been using CHATGPT to create prompts for Suno to use. In another page I will showing you the steps that I took with Chat and Suno. All these prompts will be available for anyone to use. You can always message me with questions. I also plan to have a pod caste that will be devoted to show everybody in REAL TIME how easy or not so easy it sometimes go.
Most of the songs have several versions of each song. They can sometimes be quite different from each other. Suno does have a problem with singing the words correctly, but Chat has given me prompts for Suno that sometimes corrects Suno’s mistakes.
FIFTH AVENUE
This is an old song that I did with my first band back in the 90’s. I have several versions (15) of Suno’s results on my different versions (electric, acoustic & capello ). This is one I told the prompt to have a country vocal.

AND IN THE END
This is my baby, it’s my oldest song that I have from the 60’s. I never did this song because it was a “riff driven” song and it ended up being in the closet for 50 years. I think Suno did a great job on 3 versions (metal, r&b & country) i do still need to have chat help me slow the tempo down more. When I get that done I’ll be posting more versions.
BITCH OF A CITY
This is a song that I was trying to do with the band but we fizzled before that happened. I always thought it had potential. I do have some changes to the song that didn’t make it on these Suno versions. I’ll be adding that version when I have the time. Here’s a few of my favorite versions that suno came up with.
NOT YOUR BOOTY CALL
This is a song that happened one night with my friend Jose. Me and my girlfriend had joked about the fact that it was a great Title “Not Your Botty Call” . Drinking has always turned on the juices for me and this was one of those nights. Thanks Jose.
DANCE BALLERINA DANCE
This is one of my KOMPOZ collaborations. It happened right before COVID and I went away for 5 years. I always liked this song and thought it had great potential. I wrote a verse and chorus and submitted it to the KOMPOZ artist who did the melody. It needed another part and I was ready to try and fatten the song up with the help of him. But the fickled finger of fate let COVID sneak in the door and fucked all our lives up. I still have to track down the author but I really like this melody and Suno I think did agreat job. Most of the song needs more vocals, but listen to the music without the vocals OMG. I will be adding some more vocals and hopefully another part after I track down the KOMPOZ creator. I did vocal melody and lyrics.
DANCING WITH THE FARIES
This is one of my favorite songs. It’s for my Baby. Don’t get me started on my Baby. Yeh well I am really impressed with the many Suno versions of my song and they all seemed to be very close to my vocal melody and the dynamics that I was looking for. Some of them didn’t include all the lyrics and melody, but made up for that with some great music. It’s like having a producer that is miles ahead of you and reads your mind as to what you would love to have him/her help you with. Yeh as if they read your frickin mind. Here are a few of the 8 versions Suno did. I will include the ORIGINAL and the lyrics so you can see what I mean. The original has a few minutes of a drum track so sorry about that it’s 5 minutes long not 8 minute
DARK WINDOWS
This is a song that we did with my first band (SPECTRUM). Tony D’Amore the guitar player and leader of the band had a riff that he was doing just screwing around as guitarist love to do. Well he had this riff (the one you hear at the start of the song) and I said play that again and again turned into a killer song (I thought). I took the practice recording home with me and put some lyrics and vocal melody to his MANY musical changes he did in our little improve jam. I was just “scrambled egging” the shit out of our jam , trying to lay down some lyrical melodies that I could use later. I took it home and took my vocal “scrambled eggs” and put lyrics to them. I came back at practice and had a foundation for his music. We worked on that for awhile and finally ended up with a song I just LOVED. Suno just can’t seem to get this song down (too many parts?), but it does have most of the song. I will be working with getting this song corrected with Chat and Suno. in the meantime here’s what you have. I’ll include a recording of our ORIGINAL recording to hear what I”m talking about.
