Scouse was brought to Liverpool by Northern European sailors, it was originally called Labskause or lobskause. This was finally shortened to Skause and over time the spelling changed to the more Anglicised version we know and love today, Scouse.

This is a very quick and easy salad recipe with bitter melons, tomato, chrimp paste... Very good for those with anemia.

I love making easy seasonal soups that are both tasty and healthy. In this recipe cauliflower and kale, two cruciferous anti cancer vegetables, team up with coconut milk to make a mild creamy fall soup just in time for the cooler damper weather. I adore soup and can't think of a better way to make sure I get my fill of antioxidant rich vegetables. In addition, this vegan soup has sauteed garlic, onions and turmeric , goes a long way, and is deliciously satisfying.

Breakfast Pizzas are so great. You can make them with what ever you have on hand or left overs you want to use up... For the sauce base here I used tomato sauce. But for a lot of our breakfast pizzas I use Alfredo sauce, salsas, Salsa con queso it depends on what kind of toppings we are using. We have also used Sausage gravy, buffalo chicken dip and creamed chipped beef as our sauce base. Use what ever you like get creative!

Spinach and Eggplant Rigatoni is one of the simplest pasta recipes and yet so full of flavors though the original recipe had spicy sausages, to give the recipe a pure vegetarian twist I added chili flakes, eggplant and spinach.
